First off, what is Fire Technology?
Fire Technology is the major that people pick when they want to work in the Fire Department area. Example: Fire Investigation, Fire Fighter, Fire Inspector, and Fire Specialist. I am studying to be an EMT, EMT stands for Emergency Medical Technician (the people who work in ambulances).

When did you start BMX? I started racing in 1996. I don't like racing. Started riding freestyle in Feb of 2000.

How did you start? little kids in the neighborhood.
Where did you grow up? Ojai ( O-HI ), California
Do you have a coach? Nope
What do you do to train? Ride my bike

How did you meet your first sponsor? I met my first sponsor sometime in 1998 I think. I was at a track racing, and he told me that he wanted me to ride more of the companies stuff, and that he would like to supply me with it. A couple months later I was the first girl to be riding the Specialized "Fat Girl" bike. The company I rode for was Specialized Bicycles. They were great, and I had a lot of fun times.

What is the best part about BMX?
it puts me at ease, brings soo much joy into my life, and basically, keeps me having a lot of fun. It even kicks my butt too.

What gear do you think should be improved/invented for BMX?
Some good girl clothes, that are comfortable, look good, and fit all of your protective gear underneath

Who inspires you? I love people who are real. Not fake

What trick are you working on? 360's

Which competition do you look forward to most?
CFB Series!
CFB is Crazy Freaking Bikers. There are 3 comps for 2001. I would love to attend all three, but no money = no going.

I am definitely attending # 2 and # 3.
I also do the PRIMO ( a bmx company ) contests through out the year.

What do you eat?
I have been a vegetarian for well over 6 years. When I am in a hurry to eat something, I will throw some Rosarita Refried beans (vegetarian style, without lard) into the microwave, and put it in a tortilla with some salsa. I love Italian food. Pasta, with sauce is easy, cheap, and quick also. Steaming some vegetables with a lite soy sauce is good, and healthy.And if I am in a big big hurry, I will grab some chips, and a Pepsi.

Where is your fav place to skate? Skate Street, an indoor park in Ventura, Ca. It is private. You have to pay money, but they are really good to me, and don't make me pay. Which is great, cause I don't have money all the time.

What other sports do you do? I play darts in a league. I snowboard - I like the feeling of gliding down mountains with powder hitting your face. And I eat food. Eating food is a sport to me.

How do you give yourself a boost when you are feeling nervous or down?
Just think, of how much better I am going to become, if I overcome that. I strive off of other peoples' negativity.

What is the universe saying to you? Don't eat animals.

What advice do you have for girls who are just learning to ride? Keep trying, and don't pay any attention to negative people who ride.
