Hello everybody,
I finally did it.... I won the Loretta's. I feel so good.
The Loretta Lynn's was the only title I didn't have yet in
the women class and now... I finally did it!!!!
The week was just awesome, no more frustration before the
races, just thinking about ride and have fun, everything worked
just perfectly. My mechanic Wes from RRP did a great job.
I was at the line so confidant in my bike that I couldn't
believe it. It was so long that I wasn't feeling so good at
races!!!!
I want to thanks everybody that helped me through this week
and especially Jeff Northrop family. They give me hospitality
for the whole week, if he wasn't for them I didn't know if
I was able to make the Loretta's this year.
I want to thanks Honda for the awesome bike and all the support.
My bike is so fast!!!!
I want to say thanks to al my sponsors that are: American
Honda, UFO, Bel-Ray, Yes helmets, RRP, FMF, Renthal, Alpinestars,
Scott goggles, CTI, Boysen, Twin Air, Dunlop, Braking, BRP,
Rapid Tac, EK Chain, EA Sports, Work Connection, Motion Pro,
Paioli, Engine Ice, LAAS Sports, ProX, AP designs and Cometic.
Thanks
Ciao,

Hello everybody!
It's sunday
night and I just got back from my last National race. This
time I was in Michigan at the Red Bud National track in Buchanan.
The whether was really hot and what killed us riders was the
humidity... about 99%. At 3.30pm on saturday started the practice.
I was feeling so good, the track was awesome with a lot of
jumps and a lot of turns where I was able to lunch my bike
in 5th gear wide open!!! (I'm not sure how fast I was going
because on dirt bikes we don't have the speedometer but believe
me it was FAST!).
At the third
lap during practice my bike started to have some problems
(just when I was having so much fun) but I decided to keep
going to try to learn better the track and see if the problem
was going away by itself. I finished the first turn of practice
and my mechanic Marty change the spark plug for the second
turn of practice. The second time I went in the track....
there where tons of bumps.... oh my god, the track was still
really fun to ride but I had to put on all my focus to not
fall down. Unfortunately my bike was still having some problems
and this time I stopped to the mechanic area to see what we
could do.
At 5.00 was
schedule my first qualify and I pulled behind the starting
gate with my bike not at the best shape. It seemed to be an
electronic problem but my mechanic was not able to find the
cause. We decide to start anyway and try to do the best. I
pulled out an incredible 18th place out of 40 riders but not
enough for the spot in the sunday final. (they took the top
15th)
Well now there
is the whole week to figure out what the problem was and I
will keep to train hard waiting for the next race. In motocross
anything can happen and this time my bike wanted a vacation!!!
See you next
week.
Ciao, Stefy
